This game has me on a chokehold, I love the dialogue, I love the secrets, the OST, the Variantions of it- Holy this game got me at a good time, I adore Foole, I adore all the friend our star talks about but I am left curiously wondering: What do the Alignments mean or is it more of a title / How foole see's us? Colored me a bit curious or maybe I missed it but I am really interested if there's always "descriptions / Definations" of what it means to be A Sun Verus a Meteor :0
Found this game through finding its soundtrack on bandcamp and played the Steam upload on call with a friend watching. Genuinely SUCH a stylish game with an incredible art style, writing, and soundtrack. We both laughed at some of the sillier possible answers and it's honestly kind of absurd how Foole's design feels like a fusion of both my own and my friend's character design preferences lol
An absolutely lovely little conversation. I got ECLIPSE as my alignment, and I felt quite nicely about it. My favorite sequence is the Bath, but it is a marginal favorite. The experience as a whole was very engaging, and I say this especially as someone who otherwise does not like to engage with various "personality quiz" sorts of things.
I dare not redo the experience to see more - there's a very personal feeling to the dialogue that makes me feel that repeat viewings would cheapen the experience. I also very much enjoyed the vignettes about the cellmates, which provided interesting insight into both the Foole and the world they used to occupy.
( p.s. is there a proper soundtrack available anywhere (or plans for), or am I pulling the music from the game files and just slapping them in to my collection myself? )
Great art, pretty good music. The writing wasn't really my favored brand of nonsensical, so the overt-ness with which it expressed its message didn't leave me with much to think or care about. I did really love the drawings, tho. I got MOON. No crashes nor apparent bugs, and all the animations seemed to work as intended. My favorite sequence was the Theatre cause I love theatres and the questions therein being such dire ethical dilemmas was an engaging and funny juxtaposition. The joke that I was telling the audience what to think was good. Thank you!
